One of my favourite ways to start the day is my own spin on a Coconut Water Kefir. This kefir is great for detoxing, alkalising the body and also maintaining gut health. I hope you enjoy this refreshing drink as much as I do!
- 1 Kultured Wellness Kefir Culture
- 2 Litres Coconut Water
- Green Tea
- 1 Lemon
The first step in this process is to make the Coconut Water Kefir. Combine the Kefir Culture with 2 litres of good quality coconut water. Let the Kefir brew for 24 - 48 hours, once this is ready you have enough Kefir to last you a few days for this brew.
Each morning you can then:
Brew up 1 cup of green tea and let it cool down to room temperature.
Combine 1 cup of Coconut Water Kefir, 1 cup of Green Tea and 1 freshly squeeze Lemon.
