After spending the weekend at the Changing Habits Education Seminar - this one is very appropriate as the last in my series of Building a Philosophy on Optimal Health! Mentors!
While this can sometimes be construed as a negative pursuit, it is indeed, no less important than all others. In the hands of a good person, fame and fortune as a tool will be used to enhance 'good' deeds; in the hands of a 'bad' person, fame and fortune will be used as a tool for 'bad' pursuits. Both are merely vehicles, 'enablers' for greatness. So what form do these 'enablers' take for you? Mine are books that I'm writing, PhD studies I am working towards and business goals. For me, these ways I can focus on where I am heading what I currently am working on. Additionally I place my mentors in this area, quotes they say and what my relationship is like with them. For example my mentors are Cyndi O'Meara, Kim Morrison, Kirsty Wirth, Oprah, Elizabeth Gilbert, Dymphna Boholt and Bruce Lipton. Each mentor represents different aspects of holistic health, wellbeing, abundance, knowledge and have achieved amazing goals with passion, love, self acceptance, health, and so much more. When creating your optimal health, famous mentors and successful people pave the way for others to reach their highest highs. They vibrate with high levels of energy, self belief and knowledge. These individuals I align with, resonate and inspire me to move towards a holistic state of optimal health.
Take a moment to explore who inspires you, why they inspire you, how they make you feel and what is your relationship like with them. Personalise this area and create your health philosophy.
Cyndi O'Meara has created a amazing health philosophy and is very grounded in her beliefs and actions she takes to support her health and wellbeing. Her commitment to ongoing learning, education and feeding the world with amazing food is strongly threaded into her personal and professional life. Therefore perhaps for others we can focus on our own education, and health so we can lead our families towards the same goals. Once we achieve this we can then work towards supporting our community and be part of the domino effect of our country having amazing health!
I hope you all have a great weekend!
