Food for Life is excited to invite you to our Fermentation Workshop.

This workshop is an interactive workshop learning all facets of the fermentation process.  For those of you who have not fermented before, this is a great look into the basics of how to make your basic Kefirs and Yoghurts using the Kultured Wellness starters.

For beginners to advanced fermenters, there will be a variation of recipes and techniques for you understand how to turn wholefoods into functional, therapeutic healing foods.

Food for Life is excited to invite you to our Fermentation Workshop, an interactive learning environment where we can help you, step-by-step through all of the above queries, and MORE!

During the workshop, our expert fermenter, Elspeth, will take you through all facets of the fermentation process using KULTURED WELLNESS cultures. For BEGINNERS - learn (and master) the BASICS for making kefirs and coconut yoghurts. For our ADVANCED fermenters, get your hands on great new recipes and make the most of this opportunity to fine tune your skills, troubleshoot tricky problems you might have had at home, and extend your knowledge into the realm of FUNCTIONAL, therapeutic, healing ferments.

So that you are easily able to take your ferments home, we ask that you bring

  • 3 jars minimum 1lt capacity 

  • 6 plums and 1 passionfruit OR 5 apples and cinnamon (or fruit you like) OR Mango 

  • Carrots, beetroot, apple, ginger (or vegetables you enjoy)

  • Sugarloaf Cabbage

  • grater

  • Chopping Board

  • Sharp Knife

  • Bowl

  • Tea Towel
